Sorry fans about missing the home opener - I was in the happiest place on earth (Orlando).

Today's game was "hotter than a snakes ass in a wagon ride" (thanks Good Morning Vietnam with Robin Williams) and both teams were feeling it all game.

Saturday was a delight at the Home Depot Center as I saw the boys play like a team for the first time all season. At least this was their best team performance in my opinion as the LAG controlled the ball for most of the game.

My wife and I attended the World Series of Soccer/Futbol this past Saturday, July 21st to see the LA Galaxy take on Chelsea FC. As everyone was anticipating, this was also the MLS game debut for David Beckham.

The stadium of a capacity 27,000 was electric. There was a lot of excitement and the fans for both sides were great.

The LA Galaxy game on Saturday night was great as Landon Donovan scored his first goal of the season (see photo below from my season seats). Landon picked up some trash from a missed defensive play.

Wow, this thing is great - my first time using it. I recommend the Farmer John Louisiana Hot Links.

The game started out well for the Los Angeles Galaxy with a lot of good ball control and passing. unfortunately, there were NO decent shots on goal.
