LA Galaxy Melt in the 90 Degree Heat

LA Galaxy 2 - Toronto FC 3

Sorry fans about missing the home opener - I was in the happiest place on earth (Orlando).

Today's game was "hotter than a snakes ass in a wagon ride" (thanks Good Morning Vietnam with Robin Williams) and both teams were feeling it all game.

The Galaxy had possession most of the game and the entire first half was nothing more than dozens of missed opportunities. Landon Donovan had the most chances including a one on one with the goalie (goalie blocked it) and then an open net and his running momentum didn't allow him to convert.

After the first half, the rest of the game looked as disappointing (or fizzless) as this:

My son looked like this after the game:

Toronto FCs goals game on three Galaxy defender errors. There were no TFC spectacular passing combos, just poor defense on our part. In fact, it sucked. Let me elaborate on the intensity of the sucking by showing you my son's reaction:

Needless to report, it was hot, tiring and painful to be out there today, but we LOVE soccer and the LAG baby, so lets do it!
