LA Galaxy 0, DC United 0, Help Please!

The LA Galaxy and DC United played to a scoreless tie at the Home Depot Center Saturday night, keeping the LAG second to last in the Western Division.

I struggled with deciding to blog on the game on Saturday and due to a busy day I decided to forgo taking photos, so this will be a short review from my eyes in section 131, row B.

The Good
The Galaxy controlled the ball and passed circles around DC United during the second half. They also had a few great changes - even from "slow to start" Nate Jaqua. Nate used his size to his advantage this game and beat the DC defenders in the air. Good for you Nate, lets see that versus RSL. Donovan played well too although DC defenders even stepped on his heals to prevent him from getting a clear shot off.

The Bad
The second half. We let a weak DC United gain control over the ball. However, they kicked it right to Cannon each time so the shots were weak.

The Ugly
Did I mention the second half?

NOTE: I will not be attending the next two home games so look for my next post in July!

Alright, here's the real fondue. Three days before la Galaxy unveil their multi-million dollar t-shirt salesman, they will lose a US Open Cup game to a USL2 team. The Richmond Kickers are 11-0-2 this season and will be playing the mediocre Galaxy (who'll probably field a half-assed squad, being dumb and all). I am going to email all the major British papers and I'm trying to fuck with the Galaxy fan sites.
What is their recourse to such an awkward and stinging embarrassment? Well, bring a decent squad, I'd suggest. But the score is written. I am so serious. I will laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh when the mini-galacticos have to explain how they crashed out of the US club cup to a USL2 team just days before the man defending his lifelong reputation shows up to play for them!
You have no idea...I'm giggling as I write this.
