Galaxy 2, Roma FC 0

Even better than I predicted yesterday, the Galaxy played pretty well last night. They actually should have had two more goals, but who's counting. The Riot Squad was out in full force, dogging the three Dallas fans. Oops, sorry, four Dallas fans. One was with me - just educating him on how loosing feels.

Cobi played pretty good at left-back and Kirk's goal was fabulous. Herc was not aggressive and seems to continue to be off his game (all year). I see Kirk and Donovan up front here pretty soon.

It just so happened that a two good friends of mine came to the game last night. One happens to be from Texas and needless to say, he didn't like the outcome or the pain from getting brandined LA on his backside!

Go Galaxy!

This was my first professional soccer game, and I was told that TX was a team to be reckoned with. As the game progressed, I heard a few, half-hearted cheers from a couple of lone TX fans (obviously intoxicated and out-of-touch with the progression of the game) who dared to cheer for TX right next to the Riot Squad... yikes!

As the game progressed, I was definitely expecting more from TX, but their performance last night was much like what you get when you cross a Bulldog with a Shitzue. Better luck next time TX!
